1. To get rid of spots
A great use for tea tree oil is that it gets rid of those irritating spots. Simply pour a few drops onto a piece of cotton wool and apply to your spot. Overnight, it should help to reduce the size of redness.
2. Nasal congestion
Feeling bunged up or snuffly? Fill a sink up with hot water and add a couple of drops of tea tree oil to the sink. Then, put a towel around your head and lean over the sink. Make sure you don’t touch the water as it will be very hot. The tea tree oil will help to de congest your signeses.
3. To fight dandruff
You can add up to five drops of tea tree oil into your everyday shampoo to help keep the dandruff at bay. Or, a more natural way is to add up to five drops of tea tree oil to one ounce of olive oil. Simply massage this onto the scalp and wash out.
4. To fight gum disease
If you’re suffering with red or swollen gums then you can add one drop of tea tree oil to your toothpaste. However, it is extremely important that you do not swallow the oil and wait 15 minutes after brushing before eating.
